Knauf Conference 2024

The Challenge:

Organise three days’ worth of interactive, themed activities that engage guests & manage an awards ceremony recognising achievements within the company.

What we did:

Virtuopo was tasked with full project and creative management to organise three days worth of content and activities for over 130 delegates. Virtuopo handled all aspects of the project, from ideation to reality, taking care of the displayed content, presentations, event theme, AV and venue booking. 

This in-person event took place in The Hilton, St Georges Park in Burton-on-Trent. The hotel is home to England’s football team, featuring a wide array of football pitches and training facilities. 

Our team worked hard to create festival-themed events, with wristbands and themed team names, featuring festivals from all over Europe. Festival events consisted of ‘Rockaoke’, live music, ‘School of Rock’ and fairground stalls. 

It was only fitting that while we were in England’s premier sports hotel we had some sporting events. The delegates were able to receive football training from professional footballers, with a wide array of activities, from penalty shootouts to 5 aside games. Our delegates also enjoyed ‘Flight club’, a darting event in which each team battled it out for the top spot. With the final taking place live on stage before the awards ceremony!

With engaging video content, provided by our partner Boss Films, delegates were kept entertained and engaged. A presentation from the hilarious author and keynote speaker Geoff Ramm, left our guests feeling inspired.
